Our classes focus on live speaking practice, interviews, workplace conversations, clarification, self-introductions, and everyday communication.

The Role
About the role
NMLB teachers support adult learners in live online English speaking classes. The focus is not only grammar explanation. The focus is helping students speak more, practice realistic situations, receive respectful correction, and build confidence through repetition and feedback.

Requirements
Who we are looking for
We are looking for teachers who can create a supportive environment while helping students practice real English communication.
- Patient and supportive English teachers
- Native or near-native English speakers
- Comfortable teaching adults online
- Able to lead speaking-focused activities
- Able to correct mistakes respectfully and constructively
- Comfortable with interviews, workplace English, and everyday conversation practice
- Able to follow a structured lesson plan
- Able to encourage participation in small groups

Helping students answer common interview questions with better structure, clarity, and confidence.

Helping students practice conversations with colleagues, giving updates, asking questions, and communicating professionally.

Helping students become more comfortable in daily conversations and real-life communication situations.
Clarification skills
Helping students ask for repetition, confirm meaning, and handle misunderstandings with confidence.
Speaking confidence
Helping students speak more, make mistakes safely, and improve through consistent practice and feedback.
What We Look For
Requirements
We look for teachers with strong communication skills and genuine interest in helping adult learners build practical English confidence.
- Strong spoken English
- Experience teaching or tutoring English preferred
- Experience with adult learners is an asset
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, education background, or related experience is an asset but not required
- Reliable internet and a quiet teaching environment
- Comfortable using Google Meet or similar video platforms
- Ability to lead a 60-minute online class
- Availability for evening classes is an asset
- Professional, respectful, and supportive communication style
